Along with domestic tourists coming to Ho Chi Minh City to watch the parade and art activities, the number of international tourists coming to the city this April is expected to increase sharply.

International visitors to Ho Chi Minh City mainly come from Europe, the US, India, Korea, China and Southeast Asian countries such as Cambodia, the Philippines… Tourists usually stay for 5-7 days, participating in city tours to explore Ho Chi Minh City, visiting places such as: Independence Palace, Ben Thanh Market, War Remnants Museum; or Cu Chi tunnel tour, Saigon River cruise and night tourism activities…
In addition, many international tourists continue to visit famous tourist destinations such as the West, Nha Trang, Da Lat…, thereby helping Ho Chi Minh City develop tourism.

According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism, in the first quarter, international tourists to the city had strong growth, reaching more than 1.6 million arrivals, an increase of more than 18% compared to the figure of more than 1.3 million arrivals in 2024. In March alone, it increased by nearly 23%, reaching nearly 600,000 arrivals.

In 2025, Ho Chi Minh City’s tourism industry aims to welcome 8.5 million international visitors, an increase of more than 40% over the same period. According to experts, on the basis of positive growth in recent times, along with rich and diverse cultural tourism resources, many major events taking place during the year… are competitive advantages for Ho Chi Minh City to attract tourists and complete the set goals.
